Pulse Oximeter

Pulse Oximeter

Overview

A pulse oximeter is a device used to measure the percentage of oxygen saturation in human arterial blood. This non-invasive method determines the percentage of hemoglobin molecules bound with oxygen. The normal range is 95–97%, and if the oxygen saturation level drops below 90%, an alarm is triggered. Most pulse oximeters also display heart rate and pulse rhythm.

The VTA Pulse Oximeter is compact, lightweight, and easy to carry. It features simple operation, low power consumption, and displays pulse rate along with a bar graph. The device is equipped with an automatic shut-off function, which powers off the device within seconds when no finger is detected in the probe during measurement mode. Additionally, it can operate continuously for more than 30 hours.
